Are you currently using overnight couriers
for local deliveries?
Most businesses assume that lower prices are charged by the overnight companies (FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS, etc) when they are shipping locally. Especially when compared to same day service.
You might be pleasantly surprised to learn that CourierXpress offers same day service to most local areas at rates that are lower than the national companies charge for next day delivery.
“But I schedule my overnight deliveries at the end of the day and drop them in a drop-box..”
* No problem!
Here’s how it works. You place your delivery orders as you normally would, either by phone or online at any time. If you place your orders at the end of the day, your local packages simply remain on your desk until your office opens the following business day, and are picked up and delivered the same business day, as opposed to traveling all over the country (most national overnight couriers use major city hubs).
In addition to a better shipping rate, there are several other advantages of using The CourierXpress Company’s same day service instead of overnight service.
* Pick-up from your desk at no extra charge.
There is no cut-off time. Order online anytime or by phone at your convenience and your package will be picked up and delivered during business hours the same business day.
If you are ordering for the following day, you also get much more time to prepare your package.
Better handling with fewer people handling your package. Chances of errors are greatly reduced and chances of loss or damage are virtually eliminated. Most of the time you will get a chance to speak to the courier that actually delivers your packages …. Opportunities to further reduce error.
Fast, personal customer service with no long periods on hold, no recordings, always someone you know. Save even more money on courier delivery if the item you are sending is larger than a standard letter.

Making Deliveries.. Also known as selecting a Courier Company

Ok, so what loss difficult about selecting a Courier Company?
Well to begin with most communities/cities do not have licensing restrictions, insurance regulations, bonding requirements, or educational requirements in place when it comes to operating a courier business.
What this means for the potential customer can in fact be described as “intimidating” because in most cases you simply have no idea what or who you are dealing with. You could well be hiring a company that simply woke up this morning and decided to become a courier business. This brings up the first problem, based upon the above any Tom, Dick or Harry can in fact open up a courier business tomorrow with no prepararation and declare himself or herself an instant”Professional”. Are you prepared to entrust your valuable package/envelope to a total unknown person to do who knows what With? What do you know about this individual or business? Do they have training, knoweledge, experience?
Even worse, do they have a criminal background or are they involved in drugs or other illegal activities? OR, herein the “scoop” on hiring a courier business!
First and Foremost, How long has this business been operating in your area? Call the Chamber of Com-
merce, or the Better Business Bureau, or simply look in the phone book (if they still make one in your area) or better yet go online (the internet) and look for a website for the company you are thinking of. Do a Google search for their name. Second, ask them for references, this translates into former and present customers. If they just began busi-ness this morning just tell them to come back in
a couple of years.
The most valuable information you will find concerning courier’s is their recent and past history.
They are ser-vice providers and as such the quality of the service provided is everything.
